Ingredients
  1. Lemons | 6, Peeled & Pureed
  2. Fresh Ginger | 2 Tablespoons, Zested
  3. Honey or Agave Nectar | 3 Ounces
  4. Boiling Water | 2 Cups
  5. Water | 1 Quart (32 ounces)
Ginger Ice Cubes
  1. Place a small amount of zested ginger in the bottom of your ice mold. Top of with honey or agave.
  2. Fill the rest of the mold with the boiling water.
  3. Place into the freezer for a few hours or overnights, until completely set.
Lemonade
  1. Peel the lemons. Place the whole lemons into a blender and blend until smooth. If you don't like the pulp, feel free to strain.
  2. In a larger pitcher, combine the quart of water and the lemon pulp.
  3. Serve the lemonade over the ginger ice cubes. I like to let the lemonade to sit for 5-10 minutes to allow some of the ginger flavor to get released.
  4. Enjoy.
Notes
  1. If you like a traditional sweet lemonade, add the honey or agave to the lemonade mixture instead of the ice cubes.
