- Fresh Herbs (Basil, Oregano, Rosemary, Thyme, Garlic, etc)
- Olive Oil
- Pick and wash your fresh herbs from the garden. You can also use store bought so that none goes to waste.
- Now cut, chop, or leave whole. This is your desired preference. I like to chop mine, so that the flavor is incorporated fully in my cooked dish.
- Place your herbs into a ice cube tray. I like to use a silicone mold as it is much easer to get the cubes out and doesn't hold a smell or flavor.
- Pop your oil cubes into the freezer and allow to completely freeze overnight.
- Once your are ready to use one, you can pop one out of the container and place into a sauté dish, onto of cooked pasta, or whatever your heart desires.
- Enjoy!
