You don’t need to be an expert to make homemade coconut milk! This simple recipe for Coconut Milk only require 5 minutes of your time and is perfect for all of your last minute vegan baking needs. You can buy store bought coconut milk or you can make it for a fraction of the cost at home!

Servings: 2 Cups
Ingredients
  • 1 Cup Unsweetened Shredded Coconut
  • 3 Cups Water
  • Pinch Sea Salt Optional
Instructions
  1. Place coconut, water, and optionally salt in a blender. Blend on high for 60-90 seconds or until completely blended.

  2. Strain the blended mixture through a cheese cloth or nut bag. You will need to squeeze until the coconut is mostly dry.

  3. Store in air-tight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.

  4. Enjoy in your granola, baked goods, or smoothie.
