- 1 ⅔ Cups All Purpose Flour
- 2 Tsp Sea Salt
- 1 Tbs Baking Powder
- ⅔ Cup Almond Milk
- ⅓ Cup Vegetable Oil
-
Preheat oven to 475°F & prepare baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
In large bowl, sift the all purpose flour, baking powder, and sea salt. Once sifted, make a well big enough to pour in the almond milk and vegetable oil. Mix the mixture until a dough is formed. You will notice that the dough will no longer stick to the side of the bowl.
-
Once your dough is formed, take a little all purpose flour and dust your workspace. You will be rolling your dough out to 1 – 2 inch thickness, depending on your preference. Now, grab your biscuit cutters and cut out your biscuits. Place the biscuits onto your parchment lined sheet tray.
-
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until slightly golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before enjoying!
This recipe is easy, inexpensive and tasty.
Nice job Jac. I agree, the biscuits are tasty. I didn’t think that the vegetable oil would be as tasty as using Earth Balance (I use only vegan ingredients -Earth Balance is a vegan/plant based butter for those who may not know).
However vegetable oil is vegan, and it is also less expensive, and tastes great in the recipe.
I personally will use a teaspoon less salt next time, but to each her own with this preference.
Thanks also for providing the links to the mic and camera that you use.
Best to you.
