  1. Vegetable Oil | 1 Cup
  2. Granulated Sugar | 1 Cup
  3. Unsweetened Apple Sauce | 1/3 Cup
  4. Cocoa Powder | 1/2 Cup
  5. Sea Salt | 1 teaspoon
  6. Vanilla Extract | 1 teaspoon
  7. All-Purpose Flour | 1 Cup
  8. Whole Wheat Flour | 1/2 Cup
  9. Baking Soda | 1 teaspoon
  10. Vegan Dark Chocolate Chips | 1 Cup
  1. Preheat oven to 325*F.
  2. Combine the oil, sugar, apple sauce, cocoa powder, salt and vanilla in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Mix in the rest of the ingredients. The cookie dough will be quite wet at this stage, so chill it for about 15-30 mins so that the dough to be scooped and rolled into balls.
  4. Using a scoop, scoop out small, equal-sized portions of cookie dough, roll each into a ball and arrange them on lined baking trays, leaving an inch of space between each ball of dough to allow for spreading.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until the cookies cooked all the way through.
  6. Once cool, you can enjoy these crispy edged, chewy centered delights.
