Christmas is almost here and I want to show you one of my favorite recipes to enjoy on Christmas Morning. Vegan Red Velvet Cinnamon Rolls is a great Christmas Recipe, but also can be enjoyed all year around. This recipes uses Beet Root Powder as a natural food coloring. For The Dough
  1. All Purpose Flour | 2 Cups
  2. Organic Cane Sugar | 1 Teaspoon
  3. Sea Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon
  4. Dry Active Yeast | 1 Package
  5. Almond Milk | 1 Cup, Warmed
  6. Vegan Butter | 3 Tablespoons, Melted
  7. Beet Root Powder | 1 Tablespoon
  8. Vanilla Extract | 2 Teaspoons
  9. Unsweetened Cocoa Powder | 2 Tablespoons
For The Filling
  1. Organic Cane Sugar | 1/2 Cup
  2. Ground Cinnamon | 2 Tablespoons
  3. Unsweetened Cocoa Powder | 1 Tablespoon
For The Icing
  1. Powdered Sugar | 1 Cup
  2. Almond Milk | 1/4 Cup
  1. Preheat oven to 375*F.
  2. Whisk together the all purpose flour, beet root powder, and cocoa powder. Set Aside.
  3. Whisk together the warmed almond milk, melted vegan butter, organic cane sugar, sea salt, dry active yeast, and vanilla extract. Allow to sit for 10 minutes.
  4. After 10 Minutes, add the flour mixture to the milk mixture. Mix together until well combined and a dough ball forms. Place the dough ball into a greased bowl. Cover with a towel and allow to sit for 30 minutes.
  5. After 30 minutes, roll out your dough, brush on some melted vegan butter, and add your sugar filling. To make the filling, combine the organic cane sugar, cocoa powder, and cinnamon. Sprinkle a nice even coating onto your dough.
  6. Roll your dough and cut into 2 inch pieces using a serrated knife. Place your cinnamon rolls into a greased pan. Place into your preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  7. After 25 minutes, remove from oven and allow to cool before icing. To make the icing, whisk together the powdered sugar and almond milk until smooth.
  8. Ice your cinnamon rolls and enjoy!
