Vegan Royal Icing is the perfect recipe for decorating cookies and cakes. Royal icing is used for the cement in gingerbread houses to flow icing for filling your favorite cookie recipes. It is very versatile in flavor and coloring, so you can make it fit any of your decorating needs.

Whisk on low until sugar is combined. Once combined, whisk on high for 6-8 minutes.
Occasionally scrape sides in order to ensure a desired consistency.
You can use this royal icing as is for cement in gingerbread houses or for finer details in cake or cookies. You can add a tablespoon of water to make your royal icing into flow icing for filling your decorative cookies.
Use immediately or store in the fridge in a air tight container with a damp paper towel.
