These VEGAN brownies are to die for. They are chewy, gooey, and very rich. If you love chocolate, you are going to love this recipe.

Course: Dessert
Ingredients
  • 3/4 Cup Coconut Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Vegan Butter Melted
  • 2 Tbs Ground Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 3/4 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Sea Salt
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 Cup Vegan Dark Chocolate Chips Optional
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350*F. 

  2. Make 2 Chia eggs by mixing 6 tablespoons of water with the 2 tablespoons of ground chia seeds. Allow to sit for 5 minutes. 

  3. Add melted vegan butter, chia egg, coconut sugar, vanilla extract, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder to a bowl. Whisk until smooth. 

  4. Sift and fold in All Purpose Flour until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips or other additives like nuts. 

  5. Place brownie batter in a greased pan and flatten into a flat layer. Bake for 20 minutes or until the brownie passes the toothpick test. Allow to cool completely before cutting. 

  6. I like to enjoy mine with a light dusting of Powdered Sugar. Enjoy!
